Getting Started

Puhebotti up and running in under a minute — no technical skills needed.

Step 1: Start your free trial

Fill in the trial form. You'll receive Puhebotti's service number and personalised setup instructions by email. You can get started yourself in just a few minutes.

Step 2: Prepare your phone

Before activating call forwarding, do these two things so Puhebotti can work correctly.

Remove carrier voicemail

Carrier voicemail can intercept calls before they reach Puhebotti.

Disable call waiting

Call waiting can prevent forwarding from working when you're already on a call. An incoming call would stay on hold instead of being forwarded to Puhebotti.

Disable call waiting by dialling:

Disable: ##43#

Check status: *#43#

Step 3: Choose a forwarding mode

Choose when you want Puhebotti to answer on your behalf:

  • Puhebotti answers all incoming calls immediately. Your own phone does not ring.

  • Puhebotti picks up if you don't answer within a set time (usually 15–20 seconds).

  • Puhebotti answers when your phone is switched off, out of battery, or in an area without network coverage.

  • The most comprehensive option: Puhebotti handles all situations where you can't answer — no reply, phone off, no coverage, or line busy.

Step 4: Activate call forwarding

Dial the code shown below on your phone and press call. Replace NUMBER with Puhebotti's service number.

Step 5: Test it

Ask someone to call your number — Puhebotti should answer immediately. You can also call your own number from another phone.

If Puhebotti doesn't answer, check:

  • Is call forwarding activated correctly? (*#21# shows the active forwarding)
  • Has carrier voicemail been removed?
  • Has the service number been entered correctly?

Step 6: Customisation

Once Puhebotti is working at a basic level, we make it sound just like your business. Customisation doesn't require any technical skills from you — just tell us your preferences and we'll handle the rest.

Examples of things that can be customised:

  • Opening greeting. Puhebotti's greeting reflects your business voice. E.g. "Hi, this is Smith Plumbing. Calls are recorded. How can I help?"
  • Voice. You choose whether Puhebotti speaks with a male or female voice.
  • Business hours. Puhebotti can state your opening hours or guide callers to get in touch later.
  • Urgency classification. Puhebotti can ask whether the matter is urgent and flag it in the summary so you can prioritise callbacks easily.

More complex requests, such as integrations with existing systems or fully custom functionality, are assessed separately. Tell customer service about your needs and we'll explore what's possible together.
