Puhebotti is an AI-powered phone answering service that handles calls on behalf of your business. It converses naturally with callers, collects the information you need, and sends you a clear summary by email. Puhebotti is activated using call forwarding — no new hardware or apps required.
Yes. Puhebotti is activated using call forwarding, so you keep your existing number. Callers dial the same number as before, and Puhebotti answers on your behalf.
Yes. Puhebotti works with all Finnish carriers as long as call forwarding is available. We have separate instructions for activating call forwarding on Elisa, DNA, and Telia.
No new equipment needed. Puhebotti works with your current phone and subscription. Setup takes a single short code — no technical skills required.
No. Puhebotti uses a natural AI voice and can converse fluently. You can also choose whether Puhebotti speaks with a male or female voice. The best way to see for yourself is to try it — call the demo number 041 400 0700.

During setup

Usually under a minute. You fill in the trial form, receive your service number by email, and activate call forwarding with a single short code. We provide free setup support if you need help.
Yes, before activating call forwarding. Carrier voicemail may otherwise intercept calls before they reach Puhebotti. Read the full instructions: Removing voicemail.
Recommended. Call waiting can prevent forwarding to Puhebotti when you are already on a call. Disable it by dialling ##43# on your phone.
Yes. We have device-specific instructions for both:
Check these three things:
  • Is call forwarding active? Dial *#21# to check.
  • Has carrier voicemail been removed?
  • Has the service number been entered correctly?

Using the service

Yes. You can choose between a male or female voice and customise the opening greeting, business hours information, and urgency classification. More complex customisations such as integrations are agreed separately.
By default, Puhebotti asks for the caller's name, phone number, and reason for calling. Additional data such as address, property details, urgency level, or other industry-relevant information can also be collected.
Yes. Call forwarding can be disabled at any time by dialling ##002# or following your carrier's instructions. You can reactivate it the same way as the first time.
Yes. Puhebotti answers calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including public holidays. You receive a summary by email immediately after each call, so you can handle matters the next business day.
The Smart Answering package includes 120 minutes of call time per month. Additional minutes are charged at €0.29/min + VAT, and are shown clearly on your invoice.

Pricing & contracts

Yes. The 7-day trial requires no credit card and no commitment. The trial includes 30 minutes of call time. Billing does not start automatically — we contact you before the trial ends. Billing is monthly, invoiced at the end of each month.
The trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan. We'll reach out before it ends. You can continue, change plan, or cancel — with no penalties.
Yes. No commitment period, no notice period. Contact customer service and we'll handle the cancellation by the next billing cycle.
Yes. You can switch plans flexibly as your needs change. Contact customer service and we'll process the change by the next billing cycle.
In the Smart Answering package, a dedicated phone number and activation fee are included (normally €89.90). Call forwarding also works with this package, so you can use your existing number if you prefer.
No. Puhebotti is designed to support people, not replace them. It handles calls and collects information, but summaries and follow-up actions are always left to a human.
Yes. In addition to Finnish, Puhebotti supports Swedish and English. If your customers call in multiple languages, we can customise the service to be multilingual. Contact customer service to discuss the right solution.
Yes. The SMS reminder is also available as a standalone service. Contact customer service to find the right solution for you.
